Allion joins SSD Alliance Inaugural Opening Ceremony

[Taipei] More than 200 attendees came from over 70 companies have shown up at Sherwood Hotel Taipei to witness the very inaugural public event of the highly anticipated SSD Alliance (SSDA). The event was held by SSDA's original Founding companies and co-sponsored by Semiconductor Industry Promotion Office of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The SSDA elected Chair - Allion president Mr. Summer Chien stated in the opening speech that being one of the founders of SSDA, Allion has made major effort and contribution in the new member recruiting, technical development and collaborate with global organization. Our mission is to integrate the industrial resource and promote SSDA standard as a worldwide adopted test and compliance standard.

In the exhibition area, Allion representation demoed some SSD related test solution and test fixtures, introduced the test abilities for SSD manufacturers verifying and assuring the stability of product’s quality.

3C Products Seminar - Excellent Product's Procurement vs. Quality Control

[Taipei] This event is co-hosted by Allion and III (Institute for Information Industry) in November 13th at National Taiwan University - Gis Convention Center .

Director of Topology Research Institute came to share the information about 3C Product Marketing Trend and Statistic Analysis, and Taiwan Sony representative presented the step and process of how SONY operate Quality Assurance in the R&D stage. In the last session of this event, Allion technical director David Tung shared his testing experience with world leading retailer store for 3C product procurement and quality control.

WinHEC 2008, November 4 ~ 6 at Los Angeles Convention Center, California

Allion participated as Exhibitor in WinHEC 2008 to demo our integrated test solutions for a variety of digital products.

[Taipei] As the approved test lab for ExpressCard compliance test, Allion provided professional support to help PCMCIA conducting the gold suite test. Members participated in the event have enjoyed localized support for signal quality verification and ExpressCard compliance program test.
